ke2.info — how to use the three apps

Use Plex or Jellyfin to watch. Use Requests (Overseerr) only to ask for a title that is not in the library yet.

Plex Requests Jellyfin

Login: your own free Plex account (email, Google, or Apple).
TV sign-in page: https://plex.tv/link

Plex does not use a ke2.info username. Make a free Plex account, then tell the house admin the email you used so the server can be shared with you.

  1. On a phone or computer, open the Plex app or app.plex.tv and sign in.
  2. On a TV, install Plex, read the 4-character code, then enter that code at plex.tv/link on your phone.
  3. Open the shared home server and play from Movies or TV.
  4. If you only see Plex’s own free channels and not the house library, your account is not shared yet. Send the admin your Plex email.
  5. If it buffers, lower playback quality in the player (try 1080p or 720p).

Requests (Overseerr)

Site: https://requests.ke2.info
Login: Sign in with Plex — same Plex account as above.
This page does not play video. It only requests new movies and shows.
  1. Open requests.ke2.info.
  2. Click Sign in with Plex and approve access.
  3. If login works but you cannot request anything, the admin still needs to add / approve your Plex user in Overseerr.
  4. Search for the exact title. Check the year so you pick the right one.
  5. Click Request. For a series you can request the whole show or selected seasons.
  6. Leave quality on the default unless you were told otherwise.
  7. Watch the request status: Requested → Approved → Available. When it says Available, play it in Plex (or Jellyfin).
  8. If it already says it is in the library, do not request it again.
  9. Do not submit the same title twice. Check your Requests list instead.

Jellyfin

Site: https://jellyfin.ke2.info
Login: Jellyfin username and password from the house admin.
This is not your Plex password.
  1. Open jellyfin.ke2.info in a browser, or add that address as the server in a Jellyfin app.
  2. Sign in with the local Jellyfin user you were given.
  3. Browse Movies / TV and press play. Progress is saved to that Jellyfin user.
  4. On a TV app, server URL is https://jellyfin.ke2.info.
  5. If the page will not load away from the house, you may need to be on home Wi-Fi or the VPN the admin set up.

Which one do I use?

  • Plex — watching, especially on TVs and phones.
  • Requests — asking for something new (Overseerr, Plex login).
  • Jellyfin — watching with a local account, no Plex account required.
